Fee Information

Depending on the type of work performed, the fee for legal services is based on an hourly rate, a percentage of the amount recovered or involved, or a flat fee.

The following factors are considered when determining fees:

  2. The novelty and difficulty of the legal questions.
  3. The skill necessary to perform the legal services.
  4. The likelihood that the acceptance of the particular employment will preclude other employment by the firm.
  5. The amount in controversy.
  6. The results obtained.
  7. The time limitations imposed by the client or by circumstances.
  8. The nature and length of the professional relationship with the client.
  9. The experience, reputation, and ability of the lawyer or lawyers performing the services.
